Ayurveda and Julie Corbeil

Julie Corbeil first became interested in Ayurveda in the early 1980s, when she studied yoga, meditation and Ayurveda. After being trained in Ayurvedic massage, she worked in health centres in Ottawa and Huntsville, Ontario, providing Ayurvedic treatments to clients in need.

About the Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a system of health that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Known to the West since the 1980s, this science of health teaches us how to restore and maintain the balance of body, mind and consciousness. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word meaning “science of life.” Recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), Ayurveda is much more than just a system of health: it is a science leading to discovery of the self.

Body Types description

The different psychophysiological types to better understand each other.

I want to thank you again for providing me the connection to Ayurveda for my journey to perfect health. I am feeling the benefits of the few routines I’ve put into place.
And best of all, my finger joints are better. My fingers easily fly over the keys as I type at my computer. I am looking forward to when the joint stiffness is completely gone.
